People in the metal stamping industry know that the surface stains of metal stamping parts come from the lubricating oil on the mold, and the mold must be lubricated at the beginning of processing. In this way, the workpiece will inevitably be stained with stains, so the surface stains need to be cleaned before the metal stamping parts are shipped.

The principle of removing stains is: saponification reaction and non saponification reaction. The former is used to treat animal and vegetable oils, which react with alkali and dissolve in water, and the latter is mainly used in industrialized degreasing methods such as hardware products.


1: Alkali solvent degreasing method: when the surface stains of metal parts are mixed with alkali solvent, emulsification reaction will occur. The advantage of this cleaning method is low cost, but the disadvantage is that the cleaning effect is not strong and the speed is slow.


2: Organic degreasing method: this cleaning method has a significant effect. It will have a strong effect on the surface stains of metal stamping parts, and the stains can be removed in a short time. For example, toluene, ethylene trioxide, gasoline, etc. are commonly used in large quantities in industrial production, gradually replacing the traditional cleaning methods, but this has some shortcomings, such as high cost, strong volatility, flammability and explosiveness, and easy to pollute the environment.


3: Electrochemical degreasing method: different from the two methods mentioned before, this electrochemical cleaning method will be more environmentally friendly, have no side effects, and have high efficiency. By placing the metal stamping parts in alkaline electrolyte, under the action of DC, the tension of the solution surface is reduced, penetrating towards the stained surface of the metal stamping parts, producing ionization, releasing hydrogen and oxygen ions, and decomposing the stains, This method is more suitable for metal stamping parts before electroplating.
